“Woman on the Street Corner”
I asked this woman if she would let me sketch her and I would put money in her cup. She was most obliging, and I felt good to pay her for her time and modeling. Win/win for each of us. Went back to my studio to do my painting.

Terry, this is just such an amazing portrait – you have captured this woman’s entire struggle in your painting – a masterpiece!
Gosh, thanks Joani! Her face so just so expressive, I could not resist.
Love the story behind it – glad you asked and she allowed and you compensated. :O)
Extraordinary piece Terry! Very neat how you had a connection to this woman too.
Thanks so much, Sherry. It was a special painting for me.
