“Father’s Day”
I was inspired to paint this image after spending a day at the circus. Even though it was not Father’s Day, I felt the moment warranted such a title. I loved how the light fell across the back of this young child in her father’s arms. It was all about the light, and a universal theme. Received Honorable Mention award in the 2015 Pennsylvania Watercolor Society Online Members’ Show.

A-w-w-w Terry this is priceless – I love the emotion you’ve captured, the sweet relationship, the tight hold of the little girl’s fingers and the heaviness of her body. I LOVE this!
I forgot to add that the light on the little girl’s cheek is wonderful, too!
Thank you, Joani. I really enjoyed painting this one.
Wow! So cute! And her little hand around her daddy’s neck is really sweet ♥ You’re fantastic on this 🙂
Hugs, Terry!
Thanks so much, Aymara. I so appreciate it! xoxo
Wow Terry, so sweet! I just love her hair, but then you always do a great job on various hair types!
I feel like hair is a big struggle for me, actually, Sherry; and I’m always grateful when it comes out okay! Thank you very much!
