“Tapped Out”
It’s moments like these that I love to paint. I tried to render a view to this woman’s emotional state, which appeared understated but so very expressive. Her hands spoke as much as her face and body habitus.

Terry, such wonderful proportions, volume, emotion and gesture! A great way to start out the New Year!
Thank you so much, Joani!
I love viewing your beautiful portraits Terry and really enjoy the story you include with each one. You write as creatively as you paint
So glad you like it, Lorraine. Thanks for the encouragement.
Terry, i love this. She’s really studying that phone! Love the whole story. even the hair band on her wrist, just in case!
Thanks, Wyna. I liked that hair band, too. Helped tell the whole story.
She is stunning Terry, love her hands, and you have a knack for painting hair. What a great piece! I seem to be off of your email updates Terry and have missed your two 2014 posts. Just signed up again.
Thanks, Sherry. Strange, on my stats page I see you as still subscribed to email updates to my blog since November of last year, and it shows no new sign up.
OK, that’s very weird. Maybe there’s some other reason I didn’t get the 2014 posts. We’ll see if I get the next one. I’ll check my email boxes too.
