“Boardwalk Serenade”
When I saw this woman at the shore this summer, sitting on her bench and singing her heart out, I saw a painting. She was totally unselfconscious, and thoroughly enjoying herself. She seemed to engage everyone who passed by her. I quickly did a sketch (she welcomed it), and then took a few photos for my studio work. I tried to capture her happiness; I can still hear her singing her tunes.

You are so great at capturing these characters Terry! Plus beautiful watercolor technique.
