“The Length of a Day”
Gazing off from her seat, this woman caught my eye and captured my imagination. I just loved painting her, and as I worked different pigments into her complexion, I began to sense the weight of her thoughts. This painting won Best in Show for non-professional artists at the Greater Norristown Art League’s Annual Fall Art Show, 2013, and Second Place Award in the New Hope Art League Annual Juried Show, 2014.

This piece is really stunning Terry! Beautiful painting, and you revealed so much emotion.
Thank you, Sherry. I was worried painting so small that I wouldn’t be able to pull her emotions off. I’m glad it has reached you.
Easy to see why this lady caught your eye Terry, you have in turn produced a wonderful, thought provoking portrait
Thanks, Lorraine. I guess even small can pack a punch, too.
