“Afterthoughts”
While reading a map in an Italian piazza, this man’s attention was completely absorbed and so emotive. I isolated him from the rest of my photo to create the reference for this portrait. I added a warm glaze to his right and a cooler glaze to his left, developing a certain tension that enhanced the mood, I felt.

Another nice one Terry, I love your choice of placement in the space (guess composition is still the word with portraits) it is always interesting, your colours again – fabulous
Thanks for your comment and sharing your observations, Lorraine.
Beautiful Terry! I love the mystery you create with the eyes not completely seen. The whole piece is so well thought out.
Thank you, Sherry. I was a little worried with the eyes, but the rest of his face sent the message!
