Self-portrait

Self-portrait

I always loved this photo of me taken by my husband. It was a happy and sunny day on top of a windy mountain. I enjoyed painting my “multi-colored” hair, and it was a challenge to paint the face that I probably know better than any other. Would I get it right? I wonder if it’s not by accident that in my first self-portrait I’m behind sunglasses. This painting exhibited at the Artists of Yardley 2nd Annual Juried Show, 2013.

Image size: 15 x 22 inches

So beautiful, Terry – this is my very favorite portrait that you’ve done, although they are all just wonderful!

Love this piece Terry! Good thought on the sunglasses, as mine would be, plus a big hat and turtleneck. Now I feel like I know you even better! đŸ™‚
